Customizing in SAP is the activity by which functional consultants define how the management system should work in a given company. We can say that it is a customization of the system.
Other terms used for the customizing process are “customization,” “parameterization,” or “configuration” of the system. These are exactly the same thing.
If you want to pursue a career in SAP, it is imperative to know how to configure the ERP system. Knowing configuration functions also enhances your resume for working in the role of SAP functional analyst, superuser, or expert in general.
In this course you will learn how to configure all the major functions of the Sales & Distribution (SD) module, also called Order to Cash (OTC).
The course is entirely developed in SAP S/4HANA, and is usable even if you work in the previous SAP ECC.
This is an advanced course: if you have never used SAP, I strongly recommend that you start with our basic SAP SD COURSE and follow with SAP SD Superuser.
These courses will give you the basics you need to understand the use of the system from the user side, and the requirements to apply in your configuration activities.
